From a person who is experiencing the excruciating pain it is to study this huge subject (193 pages of A4 like paper to read in half a week for trademarks & passing off is just insane), I would like to say it is the least subject I am interested to compared to the modules I am doing right now possibly because it is the most difficult. However, it is still by far better than any of the modules I took last year.
I was thinking of writing a post about the iPhone trademark debacle... but I haven't got around to finding free time to actually decide whether i should do it or not.

Sorry to hear about your suffering with IP Mo, the reading for it is just as you described, it is insane. It is not really too hard though, I'm sure you'll do fine.
That article would be fun to read, hope that you could do it one day.
