I tried to add the ESO's website to the contest but that didn't work either though I tried many times over the past few days.

I registerd a site for the competition yesterday and today I got a call from them asking how I will arrange to pay the RO. 40 registeration fee. I asked what I get for the 40 rials and they said it goes towards the gala dinner in which the winners will be announced (bullshit since the whole thing is sponsored up the wazoo). So I asked ok, so how many people can attend for each 40 rials and the dude had no idea. He said he'll get back to me.
This whole thing looks dubious. A real competition should allow anyone to nominate any site, not just site owners nominating their own sites. And the 40 rial fee is ridiculous.

Muscati, even though we have participated, I personally think that this is some sort of scam, they have all these sponsors and they are still charging people to enter the competition. There are supposed to be judges for each category, but now there is this poll where people can vote, nobody knows what this poll is about?!
AND BTW, if the category that you apply under does not get at least two entries other than yours then you simply disqualify, and who knows if they people heard about the word refund.
